True Geordie featured on American TV

The True Geordie has amassed quite a following online over the past few years. The YouTube personality, who is famous for his straight-talking, no b*llshit analysis of football (in particular the plight of Newcastle United), now has close to 100,000 subscribers and a total of over 14,000,000 video views.

His videos are viewed and appreciated by people all over the world and this was made more evident yesterday when a fan from New York tweeted a video clip from an American news channel, which featured one of his legendary rants about Newcastle United

As you can see, the NBC Sports presenters, Roger Bennett and Michael Davies (who collectively are known as ‘Men in Blazers‘), were amused by the True Geordie’s analysis of the Newcastle’s current dire situation, which was made worse by defeat at QPR last weekend.

The True Geordie was obviously thrilled and surprised to be featured on a US news show…

Could there be a future for the True Geordie on television? With such a huge following, we wouldn’t be surprised if he started making the odd appearance.
