Geordies go mad on Twitter after Bellamy comments

Craig Bellamy angered many Geordies yesterday with his comments on Sky Sports following Newcastle’s impressive win against West Brom.

Making reference to his time as a Newcastle player he said, “I remember finishing fifth up there and that wasn’t good enough. It’s a great place to be if you’re winning but they always expect more. It’s a great club to play for, but they have this idea that they should be bigger than Liverpool or just as big as Liverpool or Manchester United – they aren’t. They will always be on the outskirts of that.”

The True Geordie took to YouTube to quickly give his opinion of Bellamy’s punditry…

It appears that the True Geordie wasn’t the only one who was angered by the Welshman’s remarks…

It appears the Craig has no good feelings towards his former team or his former teammates – Tim Krul was on the receiving end of some Bellamy abuse a few seasons back…
