Shy Bairns Get Nowt

“Sayings like this were just begging to be featured on a range of baby garments”, says the Geordie Genes owner, John Keddy.

“I have been involved with clothing retail for the last 10 years and being a local lad it was important for me to produce this North-East themed range in the region”.

The brand derives its name from the chain of Geordie Jeans shops which were a staple of most high streets in the North East in the 70’s and 80’s.

John goes on to say, “We are very happy with the quality and attention to detail. Designs such as ‘Howay Mam!’ and ‘The Bairn’ always raise a smile. We have invested in the branding, design and quality and came up with what we think is a winning product. As the tag says they feel geet comfy and look lush on!”

The full range of products can be purchased online at www.children-of-the-revolution.co.uk or in-store from various retailers in the North-East including HandPicked in the Metro centre, YumLush in Gosforth, The Dotty House in Low Fell, The Emporium in Alnwick, Upside Down in Newcastle and Maison Royale in Darlington.
