Appeal to trace missing South Shields woman

Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a missing South Tyneside woman.

Amanda Erickson, 53, was last seen at approximately 9pm, on Friday, June 12, at her home on Mowbray Road, South Shields.

 

 

She is believed to have driven off in a white Peugeot Partner van which was last seen crossing the Tyne Bridge at around 9.50pm the same day.

Amanda’s family are growing concerned for Amanda’s welfare. Officers are carrying out enquiries to trace her and are urging the public to get in touch if they think may have seen her.

She is described as white, 5ft 6ins tall, with short dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a long sleeve blouse and dark jeans.

Amanda is known to have links to North Tyneside, Northumberland and South Shields.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, extension 69191, quoting log number 1179 13/06/15.
